At the LTA Cheshire Awards ceremony held at Chester Race Course on Monday 20th November Upton Victory Hall Lawn Tennis Club were joint runners up.

UVH was on a short list of 7 clubs that had been whittled down from the many clubs of Cheshire that had been nominated.

It was noted by the presenter that UVH had been outstanding in the areas of fund raising and tennis development through club tournaments.
