The Christmas Buffet was a triumph of organisation by Alison and Ann, and bravery on the part of all the people who struggled through the freezing night to attend. There was a packed house there to enjoy Heseltine's joints - the staff in white coats carved meats of your choice or the vegetarians/fish lovers could choose salmon.
Members contributed a huge range of delicious salads and desserts, hot and cold.  Members were similarly generous with purchases for the raffle and providing prizes. Ian got the disco going and the dance floor was packed with people until 11 with the event winding down around the bar about midnight.  We think the event made at least £300 so thanks to all !!!
