As some of you may know, we are holding the very Wirral's very first touchtennis tournament on our grass courts, Sunday 4th June!!!

Some of you may know about what is being called the '5-a-side of tennis', some of you may not, but with sponge balls, mini rackets and smaller courts, touchtennis has become an addictive alternative to Tennis!

I know it's short notice but I will be down at the club tomorrow (Wednesday 31st May) from 6:00pm to set up some courts for you all to have a go on and maybe even enter on Sunday! So if you would like to play, give me a text or email to let me know you're coming down. We have all the equipment needed! Above all, it's a fantastic way to get fit!

If you would like to enter the tournament, there is a prize fund of £200 and it is open to all abilities! Just by playing a match, you could get yourself a World Ranking!! How good would that be to say in the pub??

If you can't make the session tomorrow and don't fancy entering the tournament, it would be great to get your support on Sunday! We'll have food and the bar available, with the tournament starting at 10am and running right through the day.

touchtennis is one of the many new ideas we are trialing at the club this year and we hope to be running sessions every week should there be enough interest! So if you fancy getting addicted or have any friends that fancy playing, let Adam McGarry know and we will get some sessions booked in!!
