Dear all,

 

 

As you probably know the Tennis Clubhouse has been refurbished with a grant from Sports England & the work completed.

 

We are delighted that the Mayor and Mayoress of Wirral are able to join us on President's Day, Saturday 22nd April, to officially open the new facilities and tour the site (which includes both the Sports England funded UVH Sports Hall entrance, blinds and changing rooms & WBC grant funded work).

 

We hope the local press will attend as this is an excellent opportunity to market the club.

 

 

Please come down and help make this the big occasion and if you can come down to play on the grass at the start if the new season.

 

 

There will be an American Tournament from 1.30pm and afternoon tea served from 4pm on the Saturday.

 

 

Calling all gardeners and those who can weed!

 

It would be really good to tidy up the flower beds before President's Day. If anyone would like to either supervise or be a helper for a gardening working party and can spare a few hours to help, please contact a Tennis Club Committee member.
